Itinerary
- 9:15 AM - Start your day by being collected from your CBD hotel or arrive at Queen Street Jetty on the South Perth Esplanade and meet our friendly team. Upon arrival on the waterfront, you will proceed to check-in to your seaplane flight with a glass of Margaret River sparkling wine.
- 10:00 AM - After departing the Swan River, you will experience a 55-minute flight from Perth CBD to Margaret River . This flight isn’t just point A to point B and we aim to showcase our beautiful state from the sky with low-level aerial views of Perth City, Fremantle, Carnac and Garden Island, Mandurah and the famous Busselton Jetty.
- Upon arrival into the wine region, you will meet your driver and board the private vehicle before going on a 3.5-hour adventure through our world-renowned wine region. First up, take a short 20-minute drive to your first stop, which is Aravina Estate. Situated within the estate’s rolling hills and manicured gardens is the stunning cellar door and state of the art winemaking facility. After being welcomed onto the premises you will immediate be introduced to their most premium wines during a guided tasting session at the cellar door before being shown to your seats.
- 12:00 PM - Whilst overlooking the expanse of the grape vines and the lake, you will enjoy a carefully created lunch from the chef a la carte menu with accompanied wine and indulge in local seasonal flavours. Due to time restrictions, we have chosen to offer 2 courses of delicious food accompanied by 2 large glasses (250ml per serve) of wine. Upon the conclusion of lunch, make a leisurely visit to the ‘Surf and Sportscars’ museum which is an iconic ‘must see’ on any Margaret River itinerary.
- 1:30 PM - After spending close to 2 hours at Aravina Estate, the next stop is the boutique Windows Estate. Famous for their minimalistic approach to winemaking and the extensive care to the land in which they cultivate wine, Windows Estate is a boutique and incredibly authentic, Margaret River winery. At a secluded section of the winery, you will be offered samples of their best wines along with cheese pairings to suit.
- After your visit to Window’s Estate, you will take a direct return trip to the airstrip where the Margaret River experience will conclude. Meet with your pilot and board the seaplane for your spectacular low altitude return flight, arriving on the calm waters of CBD Perth in record time of just 55 minutes. There is no faster or more scenic way of getting back to Perth city from Margaret River than by seaplane.
- 3:30 PM - Upon your return to the South Perth Esplanade, our friendly staff will welcome you off the seaplane and escort you to the transfer vehicle if a hotel transfer is required.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- Complimentary pickup and transfer back to your CBD hotel or arrive at Queen Street Jetty on the South Perth Esplanade.
- Tour requires at least 6 passengers to operate. Private tour can be arranged from A$6,500 (plus lunch cost per person)
- All passengers are weighed at check in.
- Passengers must comply with all Government (Federal and State) requirements for entry into Western Australia or to access the Swan River Seaplanes services. Where the passenger does not so comply, and cancels or is unable to access our services, any and all monies paid will be forfeited.
- Weight restrictions mean we cannot take passengers over 120kg. False declaration of body weight may result in your fare being cancelled. Please allow for clothing when declaring your weight as you will be weighed in your current attire. Luggage allowance of 5kg per person is automatically added.
- Infants (under 2 years of age) can be hosted. The combined weight of the infant and parent must be under 120kg. Please ask our staff for more information.

- Please check the time and date of the trip on the ticket, the ticket is non-refundable, after the tour has departed QueenTours will not refund any unused ticket.
