✔ All Camden sunrise balloon flights meet at the Rydges Campbelltown, located on the doorstep of the beautiful Macarthur region, with flights taking in views of the picturesque landscape, mountains, rivers and historic homesteads of the region.
✔ The Rydges Campbelltown is located at 15 Old Menagle Road, Campbelltown and is an ideal location to stay in the region the evening before your flight.

♦️ How to get there
✔ By Car: From the Sydney CBD take the M1 toward the Airport. Continue on the M5 to Minto. Take the exit for Campbelltown Rd from Hume Motorway/M31. Continue on Campbelltown Rd. Turn right on to Camden road then left on to Old Menangle Rd. The Rydges Campbelltown is at the end of the road on the right-hand side.

✔ By Train: From Central Station take the T8 Airport Line to Campbelltown station. Travel time is approximately 68 minutes. It is a 15 minute walk from the station to the Rydges Hotel. If you would prefer not to walk, you can pre-book a free of charge station pick-up by calling 02 4990 9242 at least 24 hours before your flight.

♦️ Launch Site:
✔ Your Hunter Valley ballooning adventure begins with a short drive to your launch site. This is determined by your pilot and depends on the wind direction on the morning.
✔ We have over a dozen launch sites to choose from in the lower Hunter Valley. This is a great opportunity to get to know your flight team and ask them any questions you may have.

♦️ Pre – flight:
✔ It only takes around 20-25 minutes for your balloon to be inflated and standing upright ready for boarding. You are welcome to help with the setup of the balloon or simply stand back and take photos as your aircraft takes shape and comes to life.

♦️ The Flight
✔ As the sun rises you will ascend into the sky in your colourful balloon. Your balloon will float gently along the breeze; in your basket you will feel completely secure with virtually no sensation of movement.
✔ During your flight you may find yourself drifting just above the treetops then, moments later, effortlessly ascending to heights of 2000 feet or more.
✔ Make sure you have your camera ready to capture views of the Hunter Valley from a perspective like no other.

♦️ Breakfast
✔ After landing we will pack the balloon away and then it’s back to Peterson House where the excitement of the morning continues over a gourmet champagne breakfast on the deck of Restaurant Cuvee overlooking the vines. Relax and enjoy a glass of champagne with your fellow passengers and your pilot as you celebrate your exhilarating morning. Digital Photo Packages will be available for purchase during breakfast.
